For Grown-Ups
Important Information
Hi, grown-up friends,
This part is, especially, for you.
After homeschooling/raising my own daughter and working with countless children through yoga and traditional education…. hearing their, daily, questions and concerns…I decided to create Life Lab to help kids understand things that can sometimes be hard to explain — feelings, friendships, school, safety, their bodies, everyday life, and all the other stuff that comes with being a human.
But these videos are a starting point, not the whole conversation.
Watch them. Talk about them. Ask your child what they think. Add your own family's values, experiences, and perspective. And if something comes up involving your child's physical or mental health, please continue to address it directly and involve the appropriate professional when needed.
I can give kids tools, language, and a place to start, but you know your child. The responsibility for teaching, guiding, supervising, and making decisions for them still belongs with you and their other direct caregivers.
Think of Life Lab as a little extra help along the way not a replacement for one on one parenting and guidance for your child.
And really, that's the whole idea:
I start the conversation. You keep it going.
Cheers,
Sierra Taylor
